Are you contemplating marriage now? Or there's a wonderful fruitful relationship going on in your life right now? Are you happy?

Human nature and life itself... bizzarre as they seem. Fuelled by notions of false hopes and the very thing called love. Love is simply a notion, a mere feeling of nothing but mixed emotions and irregular rhythmic heartbeats on a radioscope. We live on each day surviving on hopes, illusions, dreams, unfinished and unachieved goals, and the very need of money.

Need, or dependence, whatever you call it. Our greed have consumed us totally. Poverty is a shame. Living simply is no longer a virtue. Debts, credit, fast cash, that's what we live for.

At times I am really clueless. Clueless about my direction, my life, and the very state that I am in right now. All I know is, our lives are made up of choices and it's the choices that we make that'd create history, make changes and shape the future.

The choice of making a baby, the choice of words, the choice of getting into a relationship, the choice of choosing a right candidate for the right job, and fundamentally, the choice to live.

We came into this world not by our own choice, but by the choice of our very own moms and dads. Would it be our own choice to end our own lives if we very much wanted to?

When we are born just to decay and die, isn't it sad just to think about that? But we humans are social beings. We live for interaction, for affection, for recognition. But when we are deprived of all that... we are just as worthy as a decaying body, a soulless entity.

I think post-rock will heal my withering soul tonight.

Fridays are essentially the most random among all days. From work to play, to making choices and meeting people, just about anything and everything is randommm. (Everybody get rannndommm. - Lady Sovereign)

Ended up in Harry's Bar for whisky was random.

Wooo I met my random temporary co-worker by chance and he showed me lotsa new tricks to get my way about watching videos and listening to internet radio exclusive to US only. I sure some of you guys already know, So I won't elaborate.

Oh how I miss Pandora. Now I love you all over again.

And hulu, here I come!

And Saturday Night Live just reminds me of the hilarious and provocative Sarah Silverman. Can't remember how I chanced upon her, but her antics really cheer me up. Woo!

Anyway, I bought the soundtrack of Control, a compilation of Joy Division's finest as well as some numbers by New Order, Ian Curtis' major influence Early David Bowie and some other Artists. Love the movie poster... the album cover art. Woo Can't wait for the movie premiere!

Bah. Anyway, I made up my mind to quit my job by next year and take my musicianship seriously. This island is really too small to remain grounded and narrow-minded. I just feel so suffocated by all the hype, phony ponies who'd only need your help when they are in trouble. And KPIs KPIs KPIs... y'know... fuck that.

I got myself one ticket to Control (Joy Division) this weekend. Thought L may wanna join me for some good UK indie movie, but no go. Okay, go. I'm up for Sunday's afternoon slot. So Cya @ substation yo.

And oh, I paid a visit to the new and uber-flowerpower peranakan museum with my colleague today. The interior was so back to the 20s man. Such rich and vibrant culture (ethnic asian aspect), though I never quite look up to their snotty ways of adapting brit culture.

I'm always intrigued by batik cloths and painting. I was in for a real treat @ the museum. Redefining traditional batik art are some younger generation of peranakan designers adapting batik into contemporary fashion.

Nasi Lemak, anyone?

If you've been exposed to Web CMS like joomla, drupal, wordpress and movabletype, Django and RubyonRails prolly won't be unfamiliar to you.

I think Django is the next big thing, after gaining more firepower from MediaTemple.

...should we not believe in all that hype about tech advancement in our puny humdrum island?

Because sites like hulu feature full length clips of Hi-def quality serials and movies for free. (States Only)

And we have mobtv telling you to subscribe to lousy shitty local tv?

Let's face it. Youtube is here to stay. But the novelty of self-expression is long gone.

But, why must we focus only on the lucrative?

I was a huge fan of Pandora back in my poly days and army days. Somehow phony copyright and IP laws overpowered the freedom of online radio. Pandora had to limit itself to its own US netizens.

Nonetheless, I am still an avid listener of the Pandora podcast. The blog is really all about discovering music, the art, the language, and the philosophy.

Indiechristoph, a defunct Mp3 blog mentioned about music being a time capsule.

Indeed, in such contemporary times, material endeavours are much sought-after rather than pursuing true knowledge in culture.

I am an advocate of technology, it's all about improving people's lives. But after working for a couple of months in the IT industry. I think people would only be greedy and take all things for granted, for all things convenient.

Technology has only made people lazy. To be less eager to venture. To forget the joy of writing with a humble pen.

I am picking up writing and sketching slowly as I manage my time better.

I really hope I can bring forth changes in the music scene worldwide, together with my band.

Tokidoki X Onitisuka

Onitsukas have never really caught my eye. Till the tokidoki collection reveal before my eyes. Used to be obsessed with urban wear and sneaker pimp blogs till it got stale.

After a while... customization just fades and plain simplicity just comes back. You'd just wanna go with minimalism.
